New album and upcoming shows!

Hello People!

It's The Shivers with a quick update...

It's been a long time coming but I have finally made my solo debut album "Truants From Life" .

The title is from a book I read many years ago by Bruno Bettelheim about mentally disturbed children and the album deals with the redemptive power of love on the mentally ill. I don't want to call it a concept album but it definitely has a theme. It's nothing like I thought it would turn out but it never is. I wrote, played, recorded and mixed the album by myself. No computers were used.

The album is "pay what you want" and ALL PROCEEDS GO TO THE SHIVERS RECORDING FUND!

We have found a great ALL ANALOGUE studio on a hill right outside of Manchester, England. The studio is amazing and beautiful and there isn't even a computer in the place! We believe in a No ProTools philosophy. We want to make the best album possible. We will be funding the album by ourselves with no record label. We have a band fund for online sales, money from shows and we each contribute our own money from our day jobs. That said, we still need a little help so we thought by offering this solo album up for donation and using that money, you can help make this new Shivers album a reality. We will be releasing it on vinyl! All contributions of $25 or more will recieve not only the hand-made "Truants From Life" but also this new vinyl record with a working title of "More". All contributions of $100 or more will also receive a "Night of Passion" with singer Keith Zarriello. At this point, this offer is only available to females but as time goes on this could change as desparation kicks in. And as many of you know Keith Zarriello is a sworn Antisexual so this is really making a sacrifice!

You see, we start recording on April 1st and could use the help. But like I said, we're not beggars! We have jobs...give a penny if that's all you can afford or think my solo album is worth.
Just make sure to include $4 USD for s&h in the USA and $6 INTERNATIONAL so we don't LOSE $$$ on this whole deal.
